Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 marks the latest addition to the beloved franchise, following in the footsteps of its predecessors, the critically acclaimed Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) and the commercially successful Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022). Despite facing stiff competition from the highly-anticipated Singham Again, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has demonstrated remarkable resilience. The horror-comedy has not only held its ground but continued to attract the audience and generate substantial revenue at the box office.

On day 5, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 earned Rs 13.50 crore net in India, matching Singham Again's tally despite fewer screens. The Kartik Aaryan-starrer has now grossed Rs 137.50 crore net in India and is expected to surpass Rs 200 crore worldwide, with overseas figures to be confirmed on Wednesday.
For the unversed, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 collected Rs 18 crore on Monday, boosted by Diwali festivities. On Tuesday, collections dipped 25 per cent to Rs 13.50 crore.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has reportedly been made on a budget of Rs 150 crore and has recovered over 75 per cent of its cost.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 follows Ruhaan "Rooh Baba" Randhawa, a fake ghostbuster, who's blackmailed into investigating a supposedly possessed girl, Meera. Upon arrival at Rakht Ghat, he's mistaken for Rajkumar Debendranath, a prince from 200 years ago. As Ruhaan unravels the mystery, he discovers the vengeful spirit of Manjulika, but learns it's actually Debendranath's ghost, killed for his love of dance and identity. Ruhaan exorcises the spirit, bringing peace to Debendranath. In a surprise twist, Meera's buyer, Mandira, is revealed to be undercover cop ACP Rathore, seeking to arrest Ruhaan for his scams.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was formally announced in March 2023, kicking off a highly anticipated production journey. The film's principal photography commenced in March 2024 and wrapped up in September, capturing breathtaking vistas in Mumbai, Kolkata, Orchha and Leh.
