Bhool Chuk Maaf OTT Release: Bhool Chuk Maaf, which starred Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, was scheduled to open on Friday, May 9. Maddock Films released a statement the day before the movie's premiere. Even the press shows conferences for the movie that were supposed to happen in Delhi and Mumbai were also been canceled.
Bhool Chuk Maaf will now premiere on Amazon Prime Video from May 16th. "In light of recent events and the heightened security drills across the nation, we at Maddock Films and Amazon MGM Studios have decided to bring our family entertainer, Bhool Chuk Maaf, directly to your homes on May 16—only on Prime Video, worldwide. While we were eagerly looking forward to celebrating this film with you in theaters, the spirit of the nation comes first. JAI HIND (sic)," read the statement.

Bhool Chuk Maaf's OTT release announcement invited tonns of reactions from fans, followers and movie critics. While many lauded the makers for the patriotic move, others questioned the need for it.
One of the users wrote, "Just curious / how is bringing the film directly to the homes on OTT respecting the spirit of the nation and what it’s going through?"
Another user expressed his disapointment and wrote, "I waited for this movie like a 2 months & now your saying this movie will not release, I even booked the ticket."
A third user wrote, "I was badly waiting to watch it in theatres, but anyways will watch in ott for sure the moment it is released, thank you so much loads of love."
A fourth user lauded the team's effort and wrote, "A very very nice gesture by Maddock Films. Kudos."

About Bhool Chuk Maaf
Rajkummar Rao's character Ranjan and Wamiqa Gabbi's character Titli are a hopelessly passionate couple who are getting married in Bhool Chuk Maaf. Ranjan, however, is shocked to find himself trapped in a strange time loop that replicates the day of his Haldi ceremony.
In addition to Rajkummar and Wamiqa, Sanjay Mishra, Seema Bhargava Pahwa, Zakir Hussain Raghubir Yadav, Ishtiyak Khan, Anubha Fateh Puria, Jay Thakkar, and Pragati Mishra play important roles in Bhool Chuk Maaf.
Bhool Chuk Maaf's trailer and the catchy remix of the song Chor Bazaari have fairly generated the traction but other supporting materials have not yet caught attention. However, if the movie receives positive reviews, the unique concept of a time loop in a family setting gives it an intriguing twist and could turn into a surprise smash.
