Bhumi Pednekar's 'Thank You For Coming' To Premiere At TIFF 2023: Ektaa R. Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, the powerhouse pair behind 'Veere Di Wedding,' are ready to present their latest venture, a coming-of-age comedy titled 'Thank You For Coming.' The film is making its debut today as an Official Selection at the esteemed Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2023.

The uproarious comedy is the sole Hindi feature film to be given a prestigious gala introduction at TIFF this year. It was handpicked for its magnificent global premiere at the renowned Toronto International Film Festival 2023, scheduled to take place on September 15, 2023, at the iconic Roy Thomson Hall!

Karan Boolani directs the film, while it is scripted by Radhika Anand and Prashasti Singh. The cast includes Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, Shibani Bedi, Pradhuman Singh Mall, Natasha Rastogi, Gautmik, Sushant Divgikar, Saloni Daini, Dolly Ahluwalia, and Karan Kundra in important roles. The film is set to hit theatres worldwide on October 6.

Speaking on the film, Rhea Kapoor shared, "It is a film for this generation and we feel extremely honoured to have the world premiere of our film at TIFF 2023. Even with its unconventional storyline and bold point of view, this movie is an out and out Bollywood entertainer, full of masti and music so it makes this selection that much sweeter!

"It is a film I am extremely proud of and we couldn't have asked for a better kick-start. I've had the privilege to work with the most talented group of girls that have put their heart and soul into making this movie and we cannot wait for the world to see what we have made."

'Thank You For Coming' narrates the journey of Kanika Kapoor, a woman in her thirties, as she embarks on a quest for lasting love and happiness. The movie is set to hit global theatres on October 6, and is jointly produced by Balaji Telefilms Limited and Anil Kapoor Film Communication Network Pvt. Ltd.
