Popular social media influencer Kusha Kapila has taken to Instagram to reveal that she and her husband Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia have made the difficult decision to separate, leaving their fans in a state of shock and disappointment. The couple, who had been together for a decade and married for nearly six years, announced the end of their relationship on Monday night.
Taking to the photo-sharing app, the couple shared a collective statement explaining that their individual plans for the future no longer align with each other.
Now as the news of her divorce is doing the rounds on social media, an old video of Kusha has surfaced online and quickly gone viral. In the video, Kusha can be seen agreeing with Karan Johar's remark about "sexual infidelity," leading to both sharing a jovial moment filled with laughter.
For the unversed, during a past chat show appearance, Karan Johar (KJo) and Kusha came together for a conversation where they delved into the topic of relationships and the evolving dynamics surrounding them.
In the video, Karan Johar can be seen playfully urging Kusha to reach out to him whenever she encounters any difficulties with her husband, Zorawar. KJo jokingly asserts that he excels in offering relationship guidance and quips, "We have to exchange our numbers and remember I'm on WhatsApp all the time. So, don't iMessage me just WhatsApp me. If you discuss any kind of problem you are having with Zorawar then call me." To this, Kusha responded, "I know he therapises people. I have watched enough Karan Johar content to know that he is everybody's go-to relationship person."
"I'm very good at giving relationship advices. The first relationship advice, I will say 'break up,'" says Karan leaving everyone stunned.
He then went on to say, "And remember sexual infidelity is not infidelity," to which Kusha replied, "I believe that". Following the recent announcement of the divorce, the rediscovered video has regained attention online, leading to netizens expressing their disapproval of Kusha's agreement with the filmmaker and finding humour in the topic of infidelity.

The couple’s joint statement read, "This hasn't been an easy decision by any measure but we know it's the right one at this point in our lives. The love and life we have shared together continues to mean everything for us, but sadly, what we seek currently for ourselves doesn't align.
"Our current focus is to get through this period with love, respect and support towards each other. We will continue to co-parent the love of our lives, Maya. And continue to be each other’s cheerleaders and pillars of support."
