Haryanvi folk dancer and former Bigg Boss 11 contestant, Sapna Choudhary, has become a mother for the second time. She and her husband, singer Veer Sahu, recently welcomed a baby boy named Shah Veer. The couple, already parents to a four-year-old son named Porus, celebrated the joyous occasion with a grand Namkaran (naming ceremony) on November 11, 2024. The event saw a large turnout, with thousands of fans, celebrities and social media influencers in attendance.

A highlight of the ceremony was popular singer Babu Maan revealing the name of the newborn on stage. Videos from the celebration went viral, capturing Babu Maan joyfully announcing, “Veer Sahu has become the father of another son. They have named him Shah Veer.” Many celebrities from the Haryanvi and Punjabi film industries attended, including singer Gulzaar Chhaniwala, who shared his congratulations with Sapna and Veer in an Instagram post. Sapna also shared glimpses of the ceremony on her Instagram stories, expressing gratitude to everyone who celebrated with them.

For the special occasion, Sapna looked radiant in a yellow and purple Anarkali, while her husband Veer kept it classic in a simple white kurta pajama. Sapna’s Bigg Boss co-contestant Mehjabi Siddiqui was also spotted at the event and the two shared a heartwarming reunion. Mehjabi later posted a video of the moment, showing her and Sapna embracing and sharing smiles.

While Sapna is known for her vibrant social media presence, she tends to keep her personal life private. She rarely shares intimate details publicly and took the same approach during her second pregnancy, just as she did when expecting her first child.

Aside from her role as a mother, Sapna has a growing career in entertainment. Recently, it was announced that filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is planning a biopic on her life, tentatively titled Madam Sapna. The film aims to capture her journey from being an orchestra dancer in Haryana’s villages to becoming a national icon, even gracing the Cannes red carpet.
