Speculation arose that she could potentially consider Priyanka Chahar Choudhary or Sumbul Touqeer for the leading role in Naagin 7. This sparked discussions and anticipation about the casting choices for the upcoming installment of the popular Naagin series, leaving fans eager to see who would ultimately land the coveted role.

Within the industry circles, there's a buzzing conversation indicating that the preparations for the upcoming season of ‘Naagin’ will commence shortly. According to a report in Filmibeat, a source said, "Ankita Lokhande is in contention to play the lead role in Naagin 7. There's a strong buzz that she will take over the charge from Tejasswi Prakash for the upcoming season. Things are in the pipeline but yes, she is in consideration. Considering her popularity and acting prowess, she might be the perfect fit for the role of a shape-shifting serpent."
