The countdown to Bigg Boss 17's grand finale is underway, bringing the show closer to crowning its winner. After providing entertainment for over three months, the season is set to conclude with an extravagant six-hour-long grand finale on Sunday, January 28. The event will feature celebrity appearances, and the top five finalists will showcase performances alongside host Salman Khan.

In the recent episode, Bigg Boss in an elaborate elimination setup, determining the five finalists. Unfortunately, Vicky Jain's journey came to an end as he was evicted from the show just five days before the grand finale. The process began with Abhishek Kumar becoming the first finalist, followed by Mannara Chopra and Munawar Faruqui. Subsequently, Arun Mashettey, Ankita Lokhande, and Vicky Jain were instructed to draw chits, sealing their fate on the show. Vicky's chit had the unfortunate label of eviction, and as he shared the news, Ankita, stood frozen in place. Vicky embraced everyone, and Ankita, unable to hold back her emotions, broke into tears and refused to let her husband depart from the show. She hugged him tightly, expressing her pride in his performance.The actress conveyed her sentiments, saying, "You played the game really well. You came here with no strong backing, following but made your place in the show. I am proud to be your wife. I can proudly say that I am Vicky Jain's wife, Ankita Lokhande."

With Vicky's elimination, Munawar Faruqui, Ankita Lokhande, Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra, and Arun Mashettey emerged as the Top 5 finalists.

In the previous week, Isha Malviya faced elimination from the show after receiving the lowest votes from the audience. She bid farewell to the competition just a few days before the grand finale. Following her exit, the remaining six contestants were nominated for eviction, putting Arun, Abhishek Kumar, Vicky Jain, Ankita Lokhande, Mannara Chopra, and Munawar Faruqui in the danger zone.
