Bigg Boss 18 contestant Digvijay Singh Rathee, who entered the show as a wildcard, is facing disappointment after a recent task left him feeling sidelined by his friends. The former Splitsvilla contestant, known for his strong presence in the house, has been vocal about his frustrations with his fellow housemates, Karan Veer Mehra, Shilpa Shirodkar and Chum Darang.
During a task in which housemates were asked to save one of the nominated contestants, Chum Darang chose to save Karan Veer Mehra, ultimately winning the task. Shilpa Shirodkar, who was playing for Digvijay, did not put in much effort to secure a victory for him. This lack of support left Digvijay feeling betrayed by those he considered his friends.
In a candid conversation with Karan Veer, Digvijay expressed his disappointment, revealing that he felt overlooked during crucial moments. He said, “I really thought that the people I trust in this house or chill with, they would have at least given me an opportunity to put me in top two, but nobody even tried, nobody even gave me a chance.”

Despite accusations of playing strategically rather than with genuine emotions, Digvijay has gained support from several celebrities outside the house. Notably, Bigg Boss ex-contestant Manu Punjabi has defended Digvijay, criticizing the makers for targeting him. Manu pointed out that Digvijay has a loyal fan base and is well-loved by audiences, which makes the ongoing focus on him unfair.
In an Instagram post, Manu expressed his concern about how the show’s producers are pressuring Digvijay, saying, “Bigg Boss is attacking Digvijay’s fans directly.” He also questioned whether Digvijay could speak out against the constant bashing, asking, “Can he say, ‘Bigg Boss, don’t bash me?’” Bigg Boss 18 airs on Colors TV and is available for streaming on Jio Cinema.
