Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 18 is all set to premiere on Sunday (October 6). As there are ongoing speciations of the contestant list, the latest report by Pinkvilla suggests that former Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress Disha Vakani, aka Daya Ben, was approached for the show. But the actress rejected the Rs 65 lakh offer by the makers of Bigg Boss. It is also said that this was the highest amount of money offered to any contestant. The actress is yet to make any official statement on the same.
On the work front, Disha Vakani who got immense popularity for playing Daya Ben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC), is reportedly on maternity break since 2017. The actress is also known for his work in Jodhaa Akbar, Devdas, Mangal Pandey: The Rising, Ame Baraf Na Pankhi and Phool Aur Aag to name a few.
On the other hand, a source told News18 that Urfi Javed’s sister, Uruusa is all set to enter the Bigg Boss house. It said, “Things are yet to be finalised and she is in the last stage of talks with the makers.”
Nia Sharma is the first confirmed contestant in Bigg Boss 18. As per reports, Arjun Bijlani, Nyra Banerjee, Dheeraj Dhooper, Mahesh Babu’s Sister-In-Law Shilpa Shirodkar, Badhaai Do Actress Chum Darang, and Shoaib Ibrahim will also take part in the show. The confirmation is still awaited.
This season theme is ‘Time Ka Taandav’. Bigg Boss Season 18 will be premiering on Colors TV and simultaneously streaming on JioCinema. While sharing the first promo for this season, makers wrote on social media “Iss baar ghar mein bhuchaal aayega, kyunki Bigg Boss mein Time Ka Taandav chaayega! ⏳👁️ Dekhiye #BiggBoss18, Grand Premiere 6 October raat 9 baje, sirf #Colors aur @officialjiocinema par. @chingssecret @smithnjonesind @blueheavencosmetics #BiggBoss18 #BiggBoss #BB18 @beingsalmankhan.”
