The highly anticipated Bigg Boss 18 is set to unleash its signature blend of drama, excitement, and unpredictability, captivating the audience with intense in-house rivalries, unexpected friendships, heart-wrenching moments and intricate conspiracies. However, in a surprising twist, Salman Khan, the long-standing host of the popular Hindi reality series since season four, will be taking a temporary break from his hosting duties. Filling the void left by the charismatic Khan will be two renowned figures from the Indian entertainment industry - Rohit Shetty and Ekta Kapoor.
Colors TV wrote on their Instagram handle, “Dhamaake honge bahut bade iss baar, kyunki aa rahe hai kuch khaas mehmaan karne Weekend Ka Vaar. Dekhiye #BiggBoss18 Weekend Ka Vaar, Friday-Saturday raat 9:30 baje, sirf #colorstv aur @officialjiocinema par ((There will be some big explosions as some special guest would be doing Weekend Ka Vaar. Watch Bigg Boss 18 Weekend Ka Vaar, Friday-Saturday…9:30 PM only on Colors TV and JioCinema).”
As Ektaa Kapoor interacts with the BB18 contestants, Colors TV wrote in another promo, “Dekhiye Shukravaar Ka Vaar Ekta Kapoor ke saath, Jahan gharwaale karenge bayaan apne haalaat (Watch Shukravaar Ka Vaar with Ekta Kapoor as housemates will express their issues in front of her).”
Ekta Kapoor witnessed an intense escalation of emotions and tensions among Bigg Boss 18 contestants, as personal boundaries were crossed. Karan Veer Mehra's temper flared when he warned, "If anyone touches my personal belongings, I'll break and throw away their hands." Vivian Dsena also lost his cool, asserting, "I won't provide explanations anymore; we'll settle matters face-to-face. Enough drama here!"
Ekta, impressed by their unfiltered outbursts, praised their candid nature, saying, "I love people who speak their mind and wear their heart on their sleeve." Her remark suggested that genuine, raw emotions make for captivating television, and she appreciates contestants who unapologetically express themselves.
