Bigg Boss OTT 3: Anil Kapoor, the veteran Bollywood actor known for his versatile roles, is set to take on a new challenge as the host of the popular reality show. The popular reality show is gearing up for its third season, which will premiere on JioCinema Premium on June 21, 2024. Kapoor expressed his excitement about this new role, stating that he feels like he's going back to school and trying something new and exciting.
Replacing Salman Khan as the host, Kapoor aims to bring his own unique flavour to the show. He mentioned, “Having said that, I’ve always approached all my projects with sincerity and a commitment to hard work and I’m going to bring that same energy times 10 to Bigg Boss! Unscripted reality has something for everyone – laughter, drama, and surprising twists, and I can’t wait to bring my own flavour to it.”
This announcement comes after the production house, Endemol Shine India, initially announced Salman Khan as the host in a now-deleted Instagram post. The sudden change in the host has stirred curiosity among fans, with many eager to see how Kapoor will fare in this role.

It's worth noting that this announcement comes amidst reports of an incident outside Salman Khan's Mumbai apartment, where gunshots were fired. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang is alleged to be behind the attack, with the gangster's brother, Anmol Bishnoi, claiming responsibility via a Facebook post.
