Bigg Boss OTT 3: Ranvir Shorey Wants Prize Money For Son Haroon's Future; Says 'I Want Him To Start Living...'

Ranvir Shorey, a participant in Bigg Boss OTT 3, recently opened up about his motivations for joining the reality show. During a press conference with the top seven contestants, he addressed rumours suggesting he joined the show to revive his career. Shorey clarified that he was offered two reality shows and chose Bigg Boss OTT 3 because he had no other work at the time. He expressed a personal desire to use his time in the house to support his son, Haroon.

“My son was out of the country, so I wanted to come here,” he said. “He is 13 years old, and I want him to start living his life with a man around him.” Ranvir and actress Konkona Sen Sharma, whom he married in 2010 and divorced in 2020, co-parent Haroon.

In a light-hearted moment during the show, Ranvir joked about wanting the Rs 25 lakh prize money. He clarified, “It is not like that. The statement was made in jest. Obviously, the combination of the trophy and prize money cannot be broken. At least I am clear when I say that I want myself to win first.” He emphasized that his intention is to use the prize money for Haroon’s college expenses.
