The controversy surrounding Bigg Boss OTT 3 escalated when Armaan Malik slapped Vishal Pandey over a compliment about his second wife, Kritika Malik, causing a division online. Later, a viral video surfaced showing Vishal and Luv Kataria making inappropriate jokes about Kritika's gym attire. This incident led to criticism from Payal Malik and host-actor Anil Kapoor. Now, Vishal's parents have issued a statement addressing the situation.
Amid the slap row, Vishal Pandey's parents broke down in a video, demanding Armaan Malik's eviction following the slap incident. They emotionally expressed their distress, stating they had raised Vishal with love and never expected such a situation when sending him to the show. "Please Bigg Boss, mujhe aapse nivedan hai ki uss insaan ko ghar se bahaar nikalo jo mere bachche pe haath uthaya. Aaj tak hum logo ne uspe haath nahi uthaya, itna pyaar se humne paala hai usko. Yeh sochke nahi bheja tha Bigg Boss main ki koi uspe haath uthayega (I request you to evict the person who raised a hand against my child. We have never raised a hand on him with so much love. We didn't send him to Bigg Boss thinking that someone would hit him)."

Meanwhile, during Weekend Ka Vaar, Armaan Malik's first wife, Payal appeared and revealed that Vishal had confessed to liking Kritika and feeling guilty about it. Later, Armaan asked Luv Kataria to repeat Vishal's exact words about Kritika, which angered the YouTuber. This escalated into Armaan slapping Vishal.
