Bigg Boss Tamil 7 Winner: Hosted by the Kamal Haasan, the season of controversial reality show comes to an end with TV actress and wildcard entrant Archana Ravichandran lifting the trophy. Manichandra emerged as the runner up Bigg Boss Tamil 7. Commenced on October 1, 2023 with 18 contestants, the show later introduced five wild card entries, creating a diverse mix of personalities within the Bigg Boss house. 

Despite the challenges, in the final showdown against strong contenders like Maya, Mani, Vishnu, and Dinesh, Archana emerged victorious, clinching the winner's title and a prize money of Rs 50 lakhs. Maya became 2nd runner up of the reality show.

The season was marked by twists and turns, with each eviction leaving an indelible mark on the show's trajectory. Contestants like Ananya Rao, Vijay Varuma, Mani, Poornima, Pradeep, Yugendran, Vichitra, Raveena, Vinusha, Aishu Nixen, RJ Bravo, Annabharathi, Cool Suresh, Saravanan, Akshaya, Gana Bala, and Bava Chelladurai have bid farewell, paving the way for the ultimate showdown among the top contenders.

The grand finale was an extravaganza of entertainment, featuring special appearances and captivating performances by former contestants. In a surprising turn of events, finalist Vishnu Vijay was the first one to be evicted from the final round of Bigg Boss Tamil. In the garden area, contestants gathered, and they were showered with numerous paper bits. Each paper contained the name of an evicted contestant. After a thorough search, Maya picked up a paper revealing the name of the evicted contestant, which turned out to be Vishnu.

Host Kamal Haasan made a special entry into the house and interacted with the finalists. During the conversation, he expressed that when he initially entered the house before the game began, it was just a shooting set, but now, it has transformed into a home. Also, the actor personally bestowed each finalist with a specially crafted, autographed book as a gift.

He presented the finalists with miniatures of the Bigg Boss house. The Vikram actor took a tour of the house, playfully referring to himself as the 'house owner' inspecting the premises before handing out eviction notices to the tenants.
