Bigg Boss Tamil 8: The show is already making noise after Maharaja actor Vijay Sethupathi stepped into the shoes of Kamal Haasan as a host. This is not the first time the actor will be seen hosting a show. Earlier, he hosted MasterChef Tamil, which streamed on SonyLIV. Now after his successful stint in a cooking reality show, fans are excited to watch him this season of Bigg Boss Tamil. The reports earlier suggested several names including Simbu, Arvind Swamy, and Prakash Raj. But all the names turned false after Sethupathi starrer promo was released. 

While sharing the latest promo of the show, makers wrote on Instagram “New house is also Ready.. Ready for a new man.. Coming back to Vijay Sethupathi’s hosting the 8th season of Bigg Boss, the actor is taking a hefty number. As per reports, he is taking a much lesser amount in comparison to Kamal Haasan. The Indian 2 actor was reportedly paid Rs 130 crore while Vijay Sethupathi’s fees as a host is Rs 60 crore. As per reports, the season several big names taking part in the show such as Sachana Namidass, TSK, VTV Ganesh, Sunitha, Soundarya Nanjundan,  Paal Dabba, Vijay Vishal and Darsha Gupta. 

Bigg Boss Tamil 8 will be premiering on October 6 on Vijay TV. The popular reality show will be simultaneously on Disney + Hotstar.
