BLACKPINK Jisoo is making waves with both her acting and music careers as she gears up for multiple major projects. The singer-actress was recently spotted in the Philippines, where she is currently filming for her upcoming Kdrama, Boyfriend on Demand. Simultaneously, she is also building excitement for her much-awaited solo comeback with AMORTAGE, offering fans a sneak peek of her title track, Earthquake, ahead of her only scheduled music show performance.

On February 8, 2025, Jisoo was seen arriving at Cebu Airport in the Philippines, sparking excitement among fans as she continues filming for Boyfriend on Demand. Production for the drama began in October 2024, and it has already gained significant attention due to its intriguing storyline and fresh on-screen pairing.

The series follows the journey of Seo Mi Rae, played by Jisoo, a webtoon producer who explores love through a virtual dating simulation called Monthly Boyfriend, allowing her to experience relationships with 900 different men without any real-world consequences. Seo In Guk stars as Park Gyeong Nam, a key character in Mi Rae’s story. The drama, directed by Kim Jung Shik, also features a talented supporting cast, including Ryu Abel, Kang Min Woo, Park Ji Ho, and Kim Sung Cheol, among others.

Beyond her acting endeavours, Jisoo is also preparing for her highly anticipated solo comeback. Her debut mini-album, AMORTAGE, is set to release on February 14, 2025, and it has already generated immense buzz. Featuring four tracks—Earthquake, Your Love, TEARS, and Hugs & Kisses—the album marks Jisoo’s first project under her independent label, BLISSOO, following her departure from YG Entertainment’s management.
