BLACKPINK Jisoo, known for her charm and talent, recently opened up about her ideal type in an interview. As she prepares for her acting comeback in the highly-anticipated zombie drama Newtopia (formerly Influenza), the Kpop star shared some insights into what she looks for in a partner.
In her interview with Marie Claire to promote Newtopia, Jisoo expressed that she values qualities like consideration and understanding in a potential boyfriend. She believes that someone who acknowledges differences and respects others demonstrates a big heart. "Someone who knows to acknowledge. Acknowledging something different from themselves shows that they have a big heart," Jisoo explained.
The FLOWER singer further emphasized the importance of self-esteem in a relationship. She admires people who can lower themselves when necessary, showcasing humility and courage. "I think people who courageously acknowledge their mistakes or shortcomings are also beautiful," Jisoo added, highlighting the importance of a relaxed and confident inner self in her ideal partner.

JISOO AND AHN BO HYUN's Short Story:
Jisoo’s personal life has always intrigued fans, especially since she’s been relatively private about her relationships. However, in August 2023, YG Entertainment confirmed that she was dating actor Ahn Bo Hyun, known for his role in My Name. Their relationship was warmly welcomed by fans, but it was short-lived. Just two months later, in October 2023, the couple announced their breakup, citing their demanding schedules as the reason for drifting apart.
On the professional front, Jisoo is busier than ever. She is not only gearing up for the release of Newtopia alongside co-star Park Jeong Min but has also recently completed filming for her debut film Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. Earlier, Dispatch reported that actors Ahn Bo Hyun and Ji Soo were in a dating relationship. The two of them used to meet at the apartment in Yongsan.
