BLACKPINK Jisoo also known as Kim Jisoo, who is gearing up for her upcoming Kdrama Newtopia, recently made some unconventional remarks on the Frozen character Anna. The Kpop sensation said that ‘Frozen 1 was a classic love story’ and she is a big fan of Elsa. At the same time, she also mentioned that she could not understand Elsa’s younger sister Anna initially. But she later understood her feelings after watching it a few times. Not only that, Jisoo also shared her views on Inside Out’s character Disgust which seemed normal too her. 

BLACKPINK Jisoo recently appeared as a guest in Salon Drip 2, where Jisoo said “Frozen 1 was a classic love story. I’m a big fan of Elsa. Her whole character arc was so different, which I liked. Elsa’s little sister, Anna, the one always begging her to play. At first, I just didn’t get her. Like, what is she doing? For real, glad I don’t have a younger sibling. Seriously. Like Elsa just wanna be alone why Anna is begging to play. ‘Do you wanna build a snowman?’ Elsa said ‘No,’ and she’s still at the door, Elsa’s like, ‘Go away.’ And she’s still like, ‘Okay.’ But after watching it a few times I started to get Anna’s feelings, too.” 

While talking about Inside Out’s character, Jisoo added, “Disgust was the only one that seemed normal. She’s just cranky. She doesn’t go back and forth. Even when being nice, she’s always cranky. Other characters sometimes feel off in their emotions. Like, Anger, you expect him to only be raging, but then he gets all soft. So maybe the movie’s saying that all emotions have different layers?” 

BLACKPINK Jisoo will be next seen in the anticipated Kdrama Newtopia. The show also stars Park Jung Min, Hong Seo-hee, Kim Jun-han, Tang Junsang, Im Seongjae, Lee Hakjoo, Kang Youngseok and Im Sungjae in key roles. Newtopia will be released on Prime Video on February 7.
