BLACKPINK Jisoo is back with a new look! The Kpop sensation recently took to her Instagram to debut a fresh hair colour that has fans speculating about a potential solo comeback. The singer and actress now sport a light brown hue, a shade different from her usual dark hair, and her caption, “Fun to go light again,” has only fueled fans' excitement further.

On October 6, 2024, Jisoo shared a series of photos flaunting her new hair colour. Dressed in a casual cardigan, she showed off her effortless style in a mirror selfie, sparking happy comments from fans who couldn’t stop gushing over her transformation. In another post, she shared a video where she playfully flipped her hair, making it clear how much she was enjoying the change.

But what’s caught BLINKs’ attention the most is the subtle hint Jisoo dropped in her posts. Fans believe that this new look is part of her preparations for a solo comeback, as she even shared a sneak peek from a recording studio, where she posted a picture focused on a pair of headphones. In another image, there appeared to be a note stand scribbled with her name. These glimpses have sparked discussions among fans about her upcoming solo projects.

Meanwhile, Jisoo’s schedule is packed with exciting projects. She’s going to lead the romance drama Monthly Boyfriend alongside actor Seo In Guk, who has been approached to play the male lead. The story will explore the unique concept of virtual relationships, where couples can have a virtual partner, which may turn into a real relationship in reality. Reports on October 7 have revealed that the filming of Monthly Boyfriend Kdrama is expected to begin in mid-October. 

Jisoo has also wrapped up filming for the upcoming zombie thriller Newtopia with Park Jeong Min. The drama is set to premiere on Coupang Play in early 2025 and promises to showcase a new side of her acting talent. In addition to her acting and music career, Jisoo recently made headlines for her adorable interaction with Stray Kids’ Felix during New York Fashion Week. Their cute moment quickly became a hot topic among fans of both groups.

The talented singer and actress first made her acting debut with a cameo in the fantasy Kdrama Arthdal Chronicles. She then landed her first lead role in the action romance series Snowdrop alongside Jung Hae In. Jisoo is now set to make her big screen debut with the highly anticipated fantasy film The Prophet: Omniscient Reader, co-starring Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Min Ho.
