Stray Kids, the rising Kpop group did a historic performance at the AMAs 50th-anniversary special event. On October 6, 2024, the American Music Awards celebrated their 50th Anniversary with a special two-hour event, featuring memorable performances from today’s top artists. Among the highlights of the night was the electrifying performance by South Korean boy band Stray Kids, who paid homage to the legendary NSYNC while delivering their own hit, Chk Chk Boom.

As the audience settled in, Stray Kids took to the stage with an impressive visual setup. Strings dangled from the ceiling, reminiscent of NSYNC's iconic marionette-themed performance of Bye Bye Bye from 2000 (and 2024's viral hit which got featured in Ryan Reynold and Hugh Jackman's Deadpool & Wolverine). The nostalgic nod was not just for show; the boys seamlessly incorporated NSYNC’s classic into their set, showcasing their dynamic choreography and signature style.
