BLACKPINK Lisa, already a Rockstar in the music world, is ready to take on Hollywood with her acting debut in HBO's hit series The White Lotus season 3. In an interview with Rolling Stone's Musicians On Musicians series, the BLACKPINK star opened up about her decision to explore acting and how she's balancing her music career with this new challenge.

“I just have to trust my gut. I’m happy with the result,” Lisa shared, expressing her excitement and nervousness about stepping into the world of acting. “As long as I’m happy, no one can say anything. I got a chance to star in The White Lotus, and it’s my acting debut. I feel like we’ve shot so many music videos, and you have to be expressive on camera, so I just wanted to try something new.”

The show is set to return in 2025 and Lisa will be joining a cast that includes well-known actors like Carrie Coon and Walton Goggins. While she’s thrilled about her acting journey, Lisa revealed that during her downtime, she enjoys staying home with her five cats and dog. “I’ll just be with them watching Netflix, or maybe go out shopping, eat good food. That’s all. I’m super chill,” she said.

Aside from her acting debut, Lisa has also been busy releasing new music. Following the success of her single “Rockstar,” she dropped two more tracks: New Woman, featuring Rosalia and Moonlit Floor. Fans have been loving her versatile approach to both music and acting, as she continues to break new ground in the entertainment industry.
