Spring Day was first released on February 13, 2017, as part of BTS’ album You Never Walk Alone, a re-issue of their 2016 album Wings. Written by BTS members RM and SUGA, the song resonates deeply with listeners due to its emotional tribute to the victims of the Seoul Ferry Tragedy. The poignant lyrics and heartfelt melody, combined with the group’s unique vocal performances, have made it a fan favorite across the globe.

The song's popularity extends beyond just chart success. It was awarded Song of the Year at the 9th MelOn Music Awards, and continues to be one of BTS' most beloved tracks, known for its deep emotional connection and reflective tone. As BTS continues their break due to mandatory military service, fans are already looking forward to their group return in 2025. The group’s last release was the anthology album Proof in 2022.
