BLACKPINK Rosé is celebrating a major milestone as her latest single, APT, featuring Bruno Mars, has officially hit 100 million views on YouTube. Released on October 18, 2024, the music video achieved this remarkable feat faster than any other video in 2024, showcasing its viral success across social media platforms.

The colourful music video praised for its fun elements and quirky graphics, has captivated fans worldwide. To commemorate this achievement, Rosé shared a delightful selfie on her Instagram with the playful caption, “apateu apateu… 100M views?” She also sent a heartfelt message to her fans via a voice note on her Instagram broadcast channel, singing the hook of the song and expressing, “Love you my number ones.”

In addition to this impressive view count, Rosé has made history as the first Kpop female soloist to reach the top of the Global Spotify chart, with APT surpassing 50 million streams on the platform. The song has resonated not only globally but has also topped the local South Korean charts, affirming its popularity both at home and abroad.

Rosé recently announced her signing with THE BLACK LABEL, a company founded by producer Teddy, while also being a part of Atlantic Records, home to stars like Ed Sheeran and Charli XCX. Fans can also look forward to her debut solo studio album, titled Rosie, set to release on December 6, 2024.

The singer made her debut as a member of BLACKPINK in 2016, alongside fellow members Lisa, Jisoo and Jennie. Prior to this, she released her single album R, featuring hit tracks like Gone and On The Ground, which garnered significant attention and set the stage for her solo career.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie has also made headlines with her solo track Mantra, which debuted at #98 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking her first entry on the prestigious chart. Mantra was released on October 11, 2024.
