BLACKPINK Rosé recently opened up about her views on love, relationships and embracing the single life during an appearance on the Therapuss podcast with Jake Shane. The conversation took a candid turn when the duo answered a listener’s query about dealing with the fear of missing out while watching friends settle down with marriage and homes.

Sharing her perspective, Rosé said, “Getting married, getting a house—why is that the status quo of being happy? Some people have miserable experiences there, and sometimes I feel like I’m so happy being a single girl.” Her relatable response quickly resonated with fans, sparking discussions online about societal pressures and the joys of independence.

Rosé’s thoughtful take on relationships struck a chord with many. Fans flooded social media, expressing their agreement with her views. “True Rosie… me too… I’m so happy being a single girl,” one fan commented. Another added, “She said what many of us think, I love her.”

The BLACKPINK star also shared a light-hearted story involving Bruno Mars, adding humour to the mix. She revealed that Mars teased a potential collaboration by posting a playful caption, which left her in shock. “I called him twice, saying, ‘You’re crazy, you’re gonna get cancelled. Don’t do it, don’t you [expletive] dare!’” she recounted. However, Rosé later found herself screaming in laughter when she saw Bruno’s post.

In another heartfelt moment, Rosé reflected on her personal experiences and the societal expectations tied to love and marriage. Her upcoming album, set to release on December 6, delves into themes of love and heartbreak, featuring tracks like 3 AM, Toxic Till The End, and Call It The End. Rosé confirmed that these songs draw inspiration from her own life, making the album deeply personal. Her already-released track APT, which includes a feature from Bruno Mars, and Number One Girl, co-written with Mars, has added to the excitement surrounding the album.

Rosé also shared her love for Korean dating shows, humorously comparing them to Western ones. “In the Korean ones, it’s like the last episode, and they hold hands, and everyone’s like they hold hands, it’s the vibe,” she joked.
