On the work front, Rose will reportedly launch her solo label to monitor and work on her solo activities independently. It was earlier rumoured that Rose will join Columbia Records but that does not seem to be the case anymore. According to South Korean news outlets, Rose will follow in Lisa, Jisoo and Jennie's footsteps.

Rose recently announced the news of her solo track 'Vampirehollie' coming soon. Sharing the 20-second teaser of her song, she wrote, "I know I’ve been away for a minute, but I’ve been working really hard on some things that I’m really excited about. I cannot wait for you all to hear everything!! But since it’s my birthday, as I occasionally do on this day, I’m gonna give u a small gift. That’s 20 seconds of a song I’ve (for now) called Vampirehollie…!!!! I can’t believe I just did that!!!!!! But now it’s time for you to give me a gift in return. Give me a fandom name please.”

She earlier grabbed the headlines when she was subjected to baseless rumours about drug use and her agency, YG Entertainment, decided to take quick action against it. The rumours started after an Instagram post by Burberry CCO Riccardo Tisci surfaced on social media. In the post, the singer was seen at designer Eva Chow's house along with Korean actor Kang Dong Won. Some netizens claimed that they saw something resembling drugs and pointed at a white powder in the picture.
