BLACKPINK member Rose has created a lot of speculation around her upcoming projects. It was recently rumoured that the singer will soon be joining The Black Label, an associate company of BLACKPINK's agency YG Entertainment. The Black Label has now officially confirmed their collaboration with Rose and released an official statement as well. The agency has also confirmed that Rose will soon release new music for her global fans.
The Black Label wrote, "Hello. It's the black label. I signed a management contract with artist #ROSÉ. Producer Teddy and artist #ROSÉ, who have worked as producers and artists for a long time, recently signed a management contract with The Black Label based on their strong trust in each other."

"Currently, #ROSÉ is preparing to meet global fans with new music, and she will work with global record labels around the world in the future. Please look forward to the best synergy that #ROSÉ, who has an unrivaled musical color, and The Black Label, who pursues free activities of artists, will meet. We promise to provide support to #ROSÉ in more diverse fields in the future. Thank You," the agency added.
Rose was earlier in the news after she was subjected to baseless rumours about drug use and her agency, YG Entertainment, decided to take quick action against it. The rumours started after an Instagram post by Burberry CCO Riccardo Tisci surfaced on social media. In the post, the singer was seen at designer Eva Chow's house along with Korean actor Kang Dong Won. Some netizens claimed that they saw something resembling drugs and pointed at a white powder in the picture.

“We’re taking legal action against acts that violate the rights and undermine the honour of our artists. We’re currently monitoring rumours and those who spread them, and we will respond strongly without any leniency,” YG Entertainment's official statement reads.
On the work front, Rose recently collaborated with the survival show 'I-LAND 2: N/a' to lend her voice to its song.
