BLACKPINK Rosé might be entering our area sooner than we may realise! Rumours are swirling that BLACKPINK’s Rosé might be gearing up for a new solo release next month and BLINKs can hardly contain their excitement. An insider, who previously leaked the lyrics to LISA's New Woman before its release has now suggested on X that Rosé’s full solo album could drop as early as September. The lead single is expected to be a piano ballad, a departure from her earlier works, hinting at a deeply emotional and introspective theme.

This album would mark Rosé's first solo project since joining THE BLACK LABEL, following her previous solos under YG Entertainment. Fans speculate that the lead single might touch on Rosé’s feelings of not being seen as one of the "main" members of BLACKPINK, adding a personal layer to the music.

Rosé has already made waves with her debut solo album R, which features the hit tracks On The Ground and Gone. The album has amassed over 1.1 billion streams on YouTube Music, making it the most streamed album by a Korean female soloist on the platform, surpassing the previous record held by fellow BLACKPINK member Jisoo’s album ME.

Rosé’s success with R is a testament to her artistry and the immense support from her global fanbase. The anticipation for her upcoming album is building, with BLINKs eager to see how she will continue to evolve as a solo artist.

Born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, Rosé signed with YG Entertainment in 2012 and trained for four years before debuting with BLACKPINK in 2016. Her debut solo album R set records, and she has continued to break barriers, both in music and fashion. Rosé's earlier solo songs On the Ground and Gone were melancholic and her vocals were impressive. With her previous solos in mind, BLINKs cannot wait for other gems in Rosé's emotive voice.
