The movie Daaku Maharaaj, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role, marked Bobby Deol's Telugu cinema debut. After the success of Animal, Bobby Deol once again captivated the audience with his antagonist role in this Telugu thriller. As the film succeeded at the box office, Bobby shared a picture with its director Bobby Kolli on social media.

Bobby Deol shared a series of photos with director Bobby Kolli on his Instagram and revealed that he had found a namesake and a brother. In the images, Deol and Kolli share a warm hug and pose for a selfie. The actor and director duo wear casual outfits. The Animal star captioned the post, "Found a namesake and a brother in @director.bobby. About Daaku Maharaaj Movie

Backed by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, Daaku Maharaaj also stars Pragya Jaiswal, Urvashi Rautela, Chandini Chowdhary, and Shraddha Srinath in significant roles. The film faced a box office clash with Ram Charan's Game Changer, released on January 10 and Venkatesh's Sankranthiki Vasthunam, which arrived on January 14. Despite the competition, Daaku Maharaaj earned Rs 38.85 crore in just two days and is receiving praise from moviegoers. The highlight of the movie, apart from its storyline, was the song Dabidi Dabidi featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Urvashi Rautela. The duo's dance moves became the talk of the town on social media ahead of the movie's release.

Bobby Deol's Upcoming Movies

Meanwhile, Bobby Deol was last seen in the action film Kanguva, helmed by Siva. The movie also stars Suriya, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, K. S. Ravikumar and Yogi Babu, among others. Bobby Deol will soon appear in YRF's spy-universe film Alpha, where he will share the screen with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. The film is being directed by Shiv Rawail.
