This enhanced security protocol is a significant notch above the standard Y security category, featuring a bolstered team of personnel, including highly trained commandos. The decision to elevate Khan's security was prompted by intensified threat perceptions, which can stem from specific threats, alarming incidents, or targeted attacks against the actor.

Shah Rukh Khan

Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan has been granted Y+ security by the Maharashtra government following a disturbing death threat. This elevated security protocol aims to safeguard the actor from potential harm, ensuring his protection and well-being.

On Thursday, Shah Rukh Khan received a death threat, allegedly issued by an individual named Faizan Khan. According to reports, a First Information Report (FIR) was filed at Bandra Police Station in Maharashtra, prompting swift action from law enforcement authorities. As per media reports, the accused demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh from the actor, escalating concerns for SRK's safety and security. In response to the threat, a team from the Maharashtra police was dispatched to Raipur, although local authorities did not confirm whether this deployment was directly related to Shah Rukh Khan's case.
