Bad Newz: Vicky Kaushal recently took to social media to announce his upcoming project, 'Bad Newz,' with co-stars Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk. The film, backed by filmmaker Karan Johar's production house, is set to hit theatres on July 19, 2024. Directed by Anand Tiwari of 'Bandish Bandits' fame, 'Bad Newz' promises to be a hilarious comedy inspired by true events.
The announcement for 'Bad Newz' came with a bundle of posters shared by Karan Johar on his Instagram handle. Excitement for the film soared as fans eagerly anticipate the entertaining hungama that awaits them on the big screen.
Johar's caption, "Get ready for the most entertaining hungama – a hilarious once in a billion situation awaits…a comedy inspired by true events!! #BadNewz IN CINEMAS 19th July 2024!" has only added to the anticipation has revealed the movie release date to be 19th July, 2024.
Last year, photos of Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri from the sets of 'Bad Newz' in Croatia went viral. The pictures captured intimate moments between the two actors, including Vicky Kaushal holding Triptii close and even lifting her in his arms for a scene. With such chemistry already evident, audiences can expect a delightful on-screen pairing.
Triptii Dimri, who is basking in the success of 'Animal' alongside Ranbir Kapoor, will also be seen in Kartik Aaryan's 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.' On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal, last seen in 'Sam Bahadur,' will also star in 'Chhava,' a period drama where he will share the screen with Rashmika Mandanna. 'Chhava' is expected to delve into the bravery, sacrifice, and wartime strategies of Sambhaji Maharaj while incorporating an emotional love story between him and his wife.
With such a talented cast and crew, 'Bad Newz' is poised to be a must-watch film that promises entertainment, laughter, and a unique story based on real-life events.
