Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej's latest collaboration 'Bro' had a fantastic opening and is doing great numbers at the box office. The film however is witnessing a steep decline but has managed to maintain steady numbers and has already crossed Rs 70 crore mark in India.
'Bro' was released on July 28 and is estimated to have collected Rs 2.59 crore in India on day 5. Opening up to big numbers the film is closer to collecting Rs 100 crore which would be a milestone to witness.
The film is an official remake of the Tamil film 'Vinodhaya Sitham' and minted a total of Rs 70.35 crore with 20.19 percent occupancy on August 1. The film has left behind Karan Johar's family entertainer starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' as the film's total collection stands around Rs 60.19 crore.
'Bro' brings together Pawan Kalyan and his nephew Sai Dharam Tej for the first time. This supernatural fantasy film is written by Trivikram Srinivas and also features Priya Prakash Varrier, Ketika Sharma, Subbaraju, Brhamanandam, and Rohini in pivotal roles.
The film is produced by People Media Factory and Zee Studios with the music score given by Thaman. The cinematography is handled by Sujith Vasudev, whereas the editing of the film is done by Naveen Nooli.
