Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej starrer 'Bro' is having a positive theatrical run at the box office after its release last week. The film has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide and has crossed the Rs 70 crore mark in India. The film is constantly earning Rs 2.50 crore in India during the weekdays and has left behind Karan Johar directorial.
'Bro' is directed by Samuthirakani and was released on July 28. The film is an official Telugu remake of the Tamil film 'Vinodhaya Sitham' and has opened to mixed reviews at the box office. This did not affect the collection of the film as on Day 6, 'Bro' collected around Rs 2.50 crore in India. The total box office collection of the film stands around Rs 73.30 crore with an overall occupancy of 16.54 percent on August 2.
'Bro' needs to pick up the pace to enter the Rs 100 crore club in India as next week, the box office will be jammed with big releases including 'Jailer', 'Bholaa Shankar', 'OMG 2', and 'Gadar 2.'
The film brings together Pawan Kalyan and his nephew Sai Dharam Tej for the first time. The screenplay of the film is given by Trivikram Srinivas, whereas the film also features Priya Prakash Varrier, Ketika Sharma, Rohini, Brahmanandam, and Subbaraju in pivotal roles.
