BTS’ maknae Jungkook is gearing up for the release of his docu-series I Am Still. Ahead of the series’ release, numerous individuals, including those commenting on official posts, such as Trafalgar, a venue and theatre management company, are calling for the cancellation of documentary screenings featuring Jung Kook's I AM STILL in Israel.

ARMY Demand HYBE To Cancel Jungkook: I Am Still's Screening

The demand to cancel screenings of JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL in Israel is a response to the ongoing conflict in Palestine, which has resulted in a devastating humanitarian crisis. With reports of over 40,000 deaths, including 16,500 children, and 92,981 injuries in the Gaza Strip since October 2023, many consider it unethical for HYBE to release the film in Israel, given the country's role in the conflict and its status as an "apartheid state" due to its occupation of Palestinian territories.

Netizens argue that releasing the film in Israel during this time would be insensitive and ignore the suffering of the Palestinian people.

I am Still will hit the theatres on September 18, 2024. The trailer for the documentary was released on August 21, offering a glimpse into the K-pop star's life, showcasing his pre-performance jitters, electrifying US performances, and behind-the-scenes moments from the creation of his solo album Golden and its music videos, accompanied by new interview footage.
