As of August 26, 23 of SUGA's songs re-entered the chart, making him the most consumed musician globally.

BTS’ Suga DUI Case

Suga is currently under investigation for driving an electric scooter while intoxicated on August 6, 2024. After being stopped by police, Suga issued a heartfelt apology, acknowledging he had broken traffic laws by riding the scooter after drinking, thinking it was a short distance, and promising to be more mindful in the future. Suga wrote, “Last night after drinking at dinner, I went home by riding an electric scooter. I violated the traffic laws due to me thinking easily that it’s close distance and not recognizing that it is not allowed to ride an electric scooter after drinking," he wrote, before adding, "I bow my head and apologise to everyone.”

On August 23, Suga appeared at a police station after completing community service and publicly apologised for his actions, expressing deep regret and remorse for causing pain and disappointment to his fans and loved ones, and pledged to cooperate with the investigation and ensure it doesn't happen again.
