BTS Festa 2024: BTS' eldest member Jin has been officially discharged from the military. Now, he is gearing up for mega BTS Festa 2024 celebrations to mark the band's 11th debut anniversary. As South Korea gears up for this monumental event, K-ARMYs have decorated Seoul in celebration of these two major events. Adding to the festivities, the group's label BigHit Music has also projected the phrase APOBANGPO in Korean on HYBE's multi-storey building. This heartwarming gesture has fueled excitement and joy among fans.
BTS Festa 2024 celebrations will include a 'hug' event with BTS Jin where he will give hugs to the ARMYs and reconnect with them after his military discharge. Ahead of the same, K-ARMYs have flooded social media with photos of HYBE building, igniting further excitement for the celebrations. Notably, it was BTS leader RM aka Kim Namjoon's idea to adorn the HYBE building with 'Apobangpo' words. During the 2023 BTS Festa celebrations, he popped the idea and other members namely Jungkook, Jimin, V, Jhope, Suga and Jin loved it. This year, BTS' handling company made it possible and made the occasion even more special for the fans.

What Does APOBANGPO Mean?
APOBANGPO (아포방포) stands for “ARMY Forever, Bangtan Forever,” a phrase that symbolizes the unbreakable bond between BTS and their fans. It was coined by Jungkook during one of his fancafe chats with ARMY in 2019. This phrase encapsulates the deep love and affection between the idols and their fans.
ARMYs have flooded X with reactions to the phrase, saying things like, “Right Sticker Right Place,” a nod to RM’s latest solo album ‘Right Place, Wrong Person.’ Other trending hashtags on X include ‘Seokjin,’ ‘ARMY FOREVER BANGTAN FOREVER,’ and ‘I PURPLE YOU,’ all showcasing the shared joy between the members and their fans.
Meanwhile, BTS Jin’s return from the military marks a significant moment for BTS and their fans. As celebrations continue, the unwavering support and love between BTS and ARMY are more evident than ever.
