In an exciting development, a collaboration between Hybe and Disney+ was announced last year, leading to the premiere of exclusive BTS-related content on the streaming platform. Now, adding to the excitement, recent reports reveal that a BTS documentary is slated for release this year, further delighting fans eager for more insights into the group's journey.
The highly anticipated BTS documentary titled 'BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star' is set to release in the latter half of 2023. This documentary will provide a comprehensive nine-year journey of BTS, showcasing exclusive footage of their daily lives and capturing significant moments throughout their career. Fans can look forward to experiencing the remarkable story of BTS through this documentary.

This upcoming original docu-series, set to debut on Disney+, chronicles the extraordinary journey of the modern-day pop icons. After the announcement, BTS members RM, Suga, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, and V shared a video expressing their excitement for the upcoming documentary. In the video, they mentioned that the documentary would unveil previously unknown aspects of their journey. V specifically mentioned that it would feature candid stories, creating anticipation among fans.
Kim So-yeon, the CEO of Walt Disney Company Korea, stated, "As global interest in Korean content continues, we will target the hearts of domestic and overseas viewers through original Korean works with excellent work in the second half of the year."
Although the specific release date for the documentary is currently unknown, Disney+ has already made available various content related to BTS, such as Suga's documentary 'Road to D-Day,' J-Hope's 'Jack In The Box' documentary, and the Permission to Dance LA stage performance.
Prior to the premiere of the documentary, BTS released their inaugural official book called 'Beyond The Story: 10-Year Record of BTS', featuring personal anecdotes shared by the members themselves.
