BTS member Jhope, aka Jung Hoseok, left fans utterly mesmerised with his electrifying performances at the HOPE ON THE STAGE concert in Mexico City, defying health concerns that threatened to dampen the experience. Over the course of two unforgettable nights at the iconic Palacio de los Deportes, one of Mexico City's largest and most revered venues, Jhope poured his heart and soul into the show, dazzling the audience with his trademark powerful dance moves, captivating stage presence and soul-stirring vocals. 

Despite struggling with health issues, including a high fever of nearly 39.5°C, Jhope's sheer passion, energy and dedication to his craft shone through, earning him thunderous applause and admiration from the sea of fans who gathered to witness his magic unfold.

In a heartfelt moment during his HOPE ON THE STAGE concert in Mexico City, BTS’ Jhope took a moment to address the crowd, sharing a personal and intimate detail about his recent health scare. With his signature humility and sincerity, Jhope revealed that he had been struggling with a severe fever, which had spiked to a concerning 39.5°C, just before taking the stage in Mexico. Despite his fragile health, Jhope's unwavering dedication to his craft and his fans compelled him to seek medical attention and he was fortunate enough to find a Korean hospital in Mexico, where he received expert care from a skilled doctor. 

Jhope shared with the audience how he was able to recover and ultimately deliver a show-stopping performance, saying, "But I had to recover to be able to perform, don't I?... I met a really good doctor, recovered, and was able to perform like this." The crowd was visibly moved by J-Hope's candid admission, and his resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity only served to further endear him to his devoted fans.
