BTS member V aka Kim Taehyung has once again taken the internet by storm despite being on a hiatus due to his ongoing military service. The global icon, who has been relatively inactive on social media since his enlistment, recently surprised his devoted fan base with a fresh update that showcased a remarkable transformation in his physical appearance. On March 23, V took to Weverse to reassure his fans about his well-being while offering a glimpse into his fitness journey. In his post, the singer revealed that he had achieved a significant weight loss milestone, shedding an impressive 10 kilograms. 

V humorously acknowledged his transformation, writing, "But recently...! I lost a lot of weight, right? I lost 10kg.. Hahahaha. I'll try harder."

Accompanying his message, V treated his fans to a series of captivating photographs that proudly showcased his leaner physique. Looking every bit the fashion icon, he effortlessly exuded style in a casual yet chic ensemble consisting of a grey top paired with brown wide-leg pants and a mustard-yellow beanie. 

Predictably, V's update spread like wildfire, prompting a frenzy of reactions from his devoted fanbase, ARMY. The fans eagerly flooded social media platforms with comments, praise and admiration for V's dedication to his fitness journey.

BTS' V Military Discharge Date

V embarked on his mandatory military service journey in December 2023, marking the beginning of a significant chapter in his life. As per South Korea's military requirements, which stipulate a service period of 18 to 21 months, V is expected to complete his national duty by June 10, 2025. Currently, he is serving alongside other members of the BTS group, who are also fulfilling their civic obligations.
