BTS member J-hope has announced that he has started the process of military enlistment. The rapper has kept himself busy before going into the military as he is working on many new projects. After releasing his solo album, J-hope will release his solo single.

The rapper has shared the teaser of his solo single as well and posted a bunch of pictures from the photoshoot.

Meanwhile, BigHit Music confirmed that J-Hope has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement.

The official statement of BigHit Music reads, "Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. We would like to inform our fans that j-hope has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement. We will inform you of further updates in due course. We ask you for your continued love and support for j-hope until he completes his military service and safely returns. Our company will spare no effort in providing support for our artist. Thank you."

Before leaving for the military, J-hope was announced as the house ambassador of the international brand Louis Vuitton. Sharing the news, Louis Vuitton wrote, "#jhope joins as new #LouisVuitton House Ambassador. The Maison is delighted to welcome the South Korean artist, who brings his unique charm and style to this exciting new chapter. #BTS"

On the work front, J-hope earlier released his solo album 'Jack in the Box'. Talking about J-hope's album, Bighit said that with this new album J-hope's 'creative identity as an artist will be introduced'.

"We would like to announce the release of 'Jack In The Box,' j-hope's solo album. BTS has turned the page on their new chapter, throughout which the members will harmoniously carry out their group and individual activities. j-hope will be the first member of BTS to start this new journey and release his solo album," the agency said in a statement.

Apart from his solo album, J-hope released his documentary 'J-hope in the Box' which is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
