TXT's Hueningkai Couldn't Differentiate Between BTS' Jin And Jungkook; Here's Why

Over time, the relationship between TXT and BTS has become stronger, and fans have developed a fondness for their brotherly bond. On camera, the two boy groups from BIGHIT have had some wholesome moments together in recent years. At award shows, TXT has been BTS's biggest supporter, and Soobin has shared how RM invited him to his house to offer guidance on being a group leader.

However, TXT member Hueningkai recently confessed that during his trainee days, he struggled to differentiate between the members of BTS. During a Weverse livestream on May 7, Hueningkai and Soobin interacted with fans for around one and a half hours.

During one of their conversations, Soobin shared that he finds it fascinating how similar the three Huening siblings, including Bahiyyih and Lea. Soobin even admitted that when he first met Bahiyyih, he mistook her for Lea whom he had met earlier.

However, Hueningkai disagreed with Soobin's comment about his siblings looking alike and said that only his sisters share a resemblance. However, he also shared an anecdote about his own confusion between two BTS members when he was a trainee.

He revealed that he used to mistake Jin and Jungkook for each other frequently because of their similar appearances with black hair. Jin and Jungkook are known to be a fun-loving duo in the group.

Soobin appeared to share Hueningkai's sentiment and acknowledged that Jin and Jungkook could look similar with black hair. The comment section was filled with surprised reactions to this revelation, as Soobin and Hueningkai laughed together as Hueningkai conceded that he might have been the only one to confuse the two.

A few years ago, a fan cam of Jungkook "morphing" into Jin for a moment during an award show became very popular on the internet. Even the BTS members themselves have occasionally noticed the resemblance between Jin and Jungkook.

The incident in which Hueningkai confused Jin and Jungkook despite seeing them up close only reinforces the theory held by fans that they resemble biological siblings.
