BTS member Jin has returned from the military and has already kickstarted working on a new project. After being the torchbearer at the Paris Summer Olympics 2024, he achieved another milestone by becoming the tourism ambassador of South Korea's capital Seoul. Fans are over the moon after the news surfaced on social media and shared how much they are proud of Jin.

A poster for Seoul's tourism featuring Jin has also surfaced on social media. In the picture, Jin can be seen wearing a blue and white check shirt and paired it with a white t-shirt.

On the work front, Jin will soon release his solo album. At a press conference, his agency Hybe Labels revealed, "Artists under HYBE MUSIC GROUP APAC will continue to deliver stellar performances in the second half of 2024, starting with the solo album release by Jin of BTS later this year."

He has also been announced as the new global brand ambassador of the luxury brand Gucci.

Earlier, while speaking about the Paris Olympics 2024, Jin expressed his gratitude towards his fans and said that he got to experience this because of the support of BTS ARMY. He also shared the one regret he had after the ceremony. He said, "Should I have glanced at it (torch) while walking?” But soon brushed this thought away and said that one will always have regrets.

The singer earlier celebrated BTS’ 11th anniversary with fans and hosted a grand event. While speaking at the event, Jin said, “I need to talk about FESTA. I gave a good idea, but it received a lot of criticism. I took a look at it so let me try to explain. I took a draft with me from the start. Since I am in charge of the FESTA by myself this time, I contacted the organizer around October, November last year. But they were honest and said they already planned everything so there wasn’t much left to do. They asked me if I had any ideas. I said I wanted to do a free hug event, but they said no.”

He recently visited his high school to shoot for a project and was seen wearing his school uniform. Jin also appeared in a variety show called 'Half-Star Hotel In Lost Island' as a guest.
