BTS Jin is back in the spotlight after completing his mandatory military service, and this time, he's ready to treat his fans with something special—a solo album. In a candid interview with Harper’s Bazaar Korea, Jin offered a glimpse into what fans can expect from his upcoming music project, which he intriguingly likened to a variety of ice cream flavours.

Jin, known for his charismatic personality and creative flair, shared that each track on his solo album will be unique. He described the songs as embodying flavours like soda, popping candy and dark chocolate. These hints have left fans eagerly anticipating the diverse soundscape he’s set to explore. Without revealing too much, Jin teased, “It seems like it will be fun when performing. I can’t say for sure since each song is different, but I hope you’ll look forward to it.”

Reflecting on his life since being discharged from military service in June 2024, Jin expressed immense happiness. “These days, I’m truly happy. I’ve been busy working every day lately. The fact that I’m working even at this very moment makes me happy, and that’s why I’m smiling,” he said. Jin’s dedication to his craft and his fans, known as ARMY, shines through his words. He added, “I want to continue bringing happiness to ARMY through my work. If someone can become happy because of me, how great of a happiness is that!”

Following his military discharge, Jin made his first public appearance at BTS’ 11th-anniversary celebration, FESTA 2024, held at Jamsil Arena. His return was met with excitement, and since then, he has kept himself busy with various projects. He recently became a global ambassador for the Italian luxury brand Gucci, gracing the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Korea. Additionally, Jin is set to appear on MBC’s outdoor variety show The Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island, marking his first television appearance after military service.

Fans can also look forward to RUN JIN, a spin-off of the popular show Run BTS, where Jin will engage in various outdoor activities. The first episode aired on August 13, 2024, and has already garnered much attention. Jin, who debuted as a Kpop idol in 2013 with BTS, made his solo debut in 2022 with the single The Astronaut. As he transitions into this new phase of his career, fans are eager to see how he continues to evolve as an artist.
