BTS Jin is set to enchant fans once again with his vocal prowess. The eldest member of BTS has lent his voice to the main theme song, Close to You, for the tvN Kdrama When the Stars Gossip. The OST will be officially released on January 26, 2025, at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
This marks Jin’s second time singing an OST for a drama, following his heartfelt contribution to Jirisan with the song Yours. Jin has been on a roll since his discharge from the military in June 2024. From releasing his first solo mini-album, Happy, to now contributing to a drama OST, the BTS vocalist has been keeping busy. Fans have praised his work ethic and talent, expressing excitement over his new project.

Fans across social media are thrilled about the news. One fan wrote, "The Astronaut is going to sing for the stars! I’m so excited about the new OST." Another commented, "More music from Jin? Does this man ever sleep?!" Many are eagerly awaiting the song’s release, confident in Jin’s ability to deliver yet another brilliant track.
The Kdrama, written by Seo Sook-hyang and directed by Park Shin-woo, stars Lee Min-ho as Gong Ryong and Gong Hyo-jin as Eve Kim. The story revolves around a fateful encounter between a space tourist and an astronaut aboard a space station. The series premiered on January 4, 2025, airing every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 PM KST on tvN. It is also available for streaming on Netflix in selected regions.
