The episode, set against a purple-themed background honouring BTS, offered an insight into his creative journey, his thoughts on performing solo, and his approach to handling public scrutiny.
When asked about the haters, Jin revealed his positive outlook: “Whenever I heard something negative, I’d habitually say, ‘It’s okay because I’m a superstar.’ It helped me brush it off and move on.” Jin’s statement highlights his resilience and commitment to staying true to himself, despite any criticism he may encounter.

Discussing the journey of creating Happy, Jin shared how he began working on the album during his military service. “I packed the song with my longing, but I did it in just two days,” Jin said, referencing his track I Will Come to You. “Thirty per cent of the lyrics are from ideas I wrote while in the military.” The song imbued with emotions he experienced during his time in service, holds a special meaning for Jin and his fans alike. He expressed his hope that listeners would feel his sincerity and dedication.

On the topic of performing alone, Jin admitted that adjusting to life as a solo artist was challenging at first. “I had a hard time because I didn’t know how to fill the gap,” he explained. “But once I got used to it, I loved it! When performing with my members, we have a lot of options for the music and choreography. But on my own, I could skip choreography or schedules and focus on what fans enjoy.” Jin’s lighthearted take reflects his adaptable approach to his new musical journey.
The Happy album, scheduled for release on November 15, consists of six tracks, with Running Wild set as the main focus track. Co-written with British pop icon Gary Barlow of Take That, the song promises to bring an exciting and unique collaboration. Another pre-release single, I’ll Be There, has also generated buzz among fans eager to hear Jin’s first solo album in its entirety.
On November 6, BTS Jin also teased the release of the main track from his upcoming album, Running Wild. I listen to this every day when I run," while replying to a fan comment on Weverse describing the song and creating further anticipation for its release.
