BTS ARMYs are buzzing with excitement as recent developments hint at the group's highly-anticipated return. During HYBE's third-quarter earnings call on November 5, CFO Lee Kyung Joon confirmed that discussions are underway for BTS' group activities in 2026. While the members are expected to generate significant revenue upon their reunion, Lee emphasized that the company aims to reduce its dependency on BTS' sales compared to previous years. This strategic shift aligns with HYBE's goal of diversifying its revenue streams by nurturing new talent and other groups under the company such as TXT, SEVENTEEN, NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT and others and exploring various business models beyond traditional music.

Following news of the highly anticipated comeback delay for the Kpop powerhouse group in 2025, ARMYs are rallying in support of the septet, understanding that the members may need time to rest and recharge to bring their best to new music. Many fans are ready to wait, emphasizing the importance of quality over speed. However, a portion of the fandom has voiced some disappointment, finding the extended wait challenging as excitement builds.

In addition to the earnings call, an update on the members’ military service adds to the excitement. As of November 4, 2024, RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook have completed 60 per cent of their mandatory military service, bringing them closer to the anticipated group reunion slated for June 2025.

Since their enlistment in December 2023, they have embraced their roles, showcasing their dedication to both their country and their fans. RM is serving in a military band, even playing the saxophone, while V is part of the Republic of Korea’s special defence team. Jimin and Jungkook are together in the 5th Infantry Division, supporting each other through this new chapter.
