BTS RM’s documentary, RM: Right People, Wrong Place, is officially set for a global theatrical release on December 5, 2024. Announced on Weverse by BTS’ label, BIGHIT MUSIC, the docu-film will premiere across 93 countries, including India, giving ARMYs and fans of RM the chance to experience his story on the big screen.
The documentary focuses on the months leading up to RM’s military enlistment and captures intimate behind-the-scenes moments from the creation of his second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person. Fans worldwide will get an insider's look into RM’s life as both a musician and an individual as he explores his personal journey and artistic identity.
Excited fans can prepare for two rounds of global reservations to book their tickets. The first round will start on November 6, followed by a second round on November 20. Korean fans can reserve tickets from November 20, while Japan will open reservations on November 22, where Right People, Wrong Place will debut on January 3, 2025.

RM’s documentary premiered at the Busan International Film Festival on October 7, 2024, providing a rare, up-close view of his experiences. The film documents his creative process for Right Place, Wrong Person and gives fans a peek into the deep reflection and growth he encountered during those eight months.

Released on May 24, 2024, RM’s second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, includes eleven tracks that touch on themes of introspection and connection.
