The BTS members are currently on a hiatus to focus on their solo projects and move forward with their military enlistments. The eldest member of BTS, Jin, is currently serving in the military but keeps his fans updated about his well-being. Jin recently shared a video message for his fans and V aka Kim Taehyung also surprised fans in the video. 'The Astronaut' singer was delighted to see V, who greeted fans.

The video of Jin and V has been going viral on social media as fans are missing their adorable bond.

Jin's military was announced in 2022 and BTS' agency Bighit Music released an official statement, talking about the same. "BIGHIT MUSIC is proud to announce today that the members of BTS are currently moving forward with plans to fulfil their military service. After the phenomenal concert to support Busan’s bid for the World Expo 2030, and as each individual embarks on solo endeavours, it’s a perfect time and the members of BTS are honoured to serve," the statement reads.

Jin recently penned a note for Jungkook on his birthday. The message was written in Korean and some fan pages roughly translated it into English. He wrote, "Our jungkookie jungkookie jungkookie jungkookie jjyonggukie happy birthday, sorry I couldn’t be the first one to wish you a happy birthday. I sent you a birthday money allowance (I didn’t) use it for something good~! Happy Birthday."

On the work front, Jin collaborated with Coldplay's Chris Martin for his song 'The Astronaut' before going to the military. He also joined Coldplay for their concert in Argentina.

V recently released his solo album 'Layover' and dropped the music video of his song 'For You'. He also appeared in Suga's chat show 'Suchwita' to promote his album. He surprised his fans by sending them handwritten letters with a hard copy of the album 'Layover'.

In the letter, V shared that he had been preparing for the album for a very long time and it got delayed because he was working slowly on his project. He also reminisced the old days of BTS and talked about the fun all the members used to have.
