BTS Jin, also known as Kim Seok-jin was the first member of the group to finish his military service. Six months after Happy, his first solo album, Jin has formally revealed his second solo album, Echo.

BTS Jin's new album was announced on April 15 0 AM KST (April 14 at 8:30 PM IST). The record label BIGHIT MUSIC's statement read, "Echo conveys universal life experiences and emotions through Jin’s unique and charming perspective. The album features seven tracks that showcase his versatile vocals against a dynamic band sound."

BTS Jin's second solo album will be released on May 16th, marking a significant comeback for fans as he pursues his creative career through 2025.

The phrases ROCK YOUR HEART OUT, PLAY IT LOUD, and BORN TO BE WILD were displayed across the back of a teaser image for Echo.

Furthermore, a second announcement stated that the album's release date would be disclosed during Seoul, South Korea, screenings. The COEX K-POP SQUARE will host the screenings from April 15 to April 19, 2025. The following is where fans can watch the event:

BTS Jin's solo comeback news excited the fandom. They dropped hearts, fire and heart-eye emoticons in the comment section. A BTS ARMY member wrote, "Omg, omg, omg, BTS Jin is coming." Another user wrote, "KIM SEOKJIN, THE MAN YOU ARE. SLAYING EVERYTHING YOU TOUCH." The third user wrote, "Aaaahhhhhhh. IM SO EXCITED!!!"

BTS Jin Ongoing Projects

BTS Jin released his first solo album, Happy, which topped at the domestic as well as international charts in November 2024. He recorded the highest rating for a solo vocalist in 2024, coming in at number 20 on the Hanteo Chart Annual Album Chart.

BTS Jin has been the talk of the town every day with his solo fan meetings, selection as a torch bearer for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, role as a global brand ambassador for the international fashion company Gucci, and modeling for numerous ads.

The renowned BTS vocalist is making a name for himself in the broadcasting sector as well. He starred in the Netflix original entertainment series 'Daehwajang Gianjang,' which debuted on April 8th and was the streaming service's top-ranked series. 'Daehwajang Gianjang' episodes 4-6 will be available on the 15th at 4 PM.

All About BTS Reunion In 2025

For those who don't know, the oldest of the seven members, Jin, enrolled in the military in December 2022 and returned to civilian life in June 2024. Since J-Hope enlisted in April 2023 and has already served his time, this tour represents an even more meaningful return for him. In December 2023, RM and V joined, and Jimin and Jungkook soon followed. SUGA is scheduled to return in June 2025 after starting his alternative military duty in September 2023. He will complete his service as the final member of the band.

All the five are anticipated to finish their service in June 2025 before the ARMY anniversary on July 9, 2025.
