BTS ARMYs have been eagerly waiting for Jin's solo album and it seems like the wait is almost over. On September 28, South Korean actor Lee Jae Chang gave ARMYs a delightful surprise by sharing a photo on his social media. The picture, which included Lee Jae Chang and a few other actors, was captioned, "A photo taken during BTS Jin's music video filming." Although Jin himself wasn’t in the photo, the news stirred up excitement among fans, who believe it’s a teaser for the long-anticipated solo project, currently referred to as 'KSJ1.'

Actor Lee Jae Chang’s post quickly garnered attention online as it hinted that Jin is indeed working on his upcoming solo album’s music video. While there hasn’t been an official announcement yet, fans have been speculating that the BTS member’s debut solo album will drop by the end of 2024. Earlier this year, Jin confirmed his plans to release a solo album, but updates have been scarce until now.

In a recent Weverse livestream, Jin shared that his album has been in the works for quite some time. “The recording wrapped up in early July, and I also completed the album jacket. The final work on the song, including mixing and mastering, is finished. It takes time, but it will be out within this year,” he revealed, giving ARMYs hope for an imminent release. With the actor’s social media post, it seems the production is in its final stages.

Fans, lovingly referred to as ARMY, couldn’t contain their excitement upon seeing Lee Jae Chang’s post. “KSJ1 (Kim Seokjin 1) is coming,” one fan commented, while another wrote, “Now I am more curious about what type of concept and genre Jin will show us.” The buzz around “KSJ1” has only grown, with many eagerly awaiting more details on the concept and genre Jin will explore in his solo music.

Since his discharge from the military in June, Jin has been reconnecting with fans through his variety show appearances and solo activities. His playful personality and candid updates have kept fans engaged, but it’s his solo music debut that has them most excited.

Aside from his music and variety show activities, Jin recently became the first global male brand ambassador for the skincare brand LANEIGE. His presence in various fields has been a treat for fans, but it seems Jin’s solo debut is poised to be the highlight of his career in 2024.
