Jin recently celebrated his return from the military with BTS ARMY and organised a grand event. There was also a hug session with Jin, where he gave 1000 free hugs to BTS ARMY. While speaking at the event, Jin said, "I need to talk about FESTA. I gave a good idea, but it received a lot of criticism. I took a look at it so let me try to explain. I took a draft with me from the start. Since I am in charge of the FESTA by myself this time, I contacted the organizer around October, November last year. But they were honest and said they already planned everything so there wasn’t much left to do. They asked me if I had any ideas. I said I wanted to do a free hug event, but they said no."
According to the latest reports by South Korean news outlets, Jin will carry the torch for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. He will soon go to France for this prestigious event, which will take place on July 27. South Korea will reportedly send around 142 athletes across 21 sports and will participate in badminton, taekwondo, archery and fencing.
